The DIA in Catanzaro carried out an order of final confiscation issued by the court in Catanzaro, as a result of a fist-degree judgment imposing severe sentences under article 416 bis and for tax crimes linked to false invoicing – the new “gold” of mafia-style organized crime groups – against entrepreneurs, who were colluded with the top-level members of the ‘ndrangheta locali in San Leonardo di Cutro (Crotone) and Roccabernarda (Crotone) and had been involved in operation “Profilo Basso” in January 2021.
The confiscation order affected 3 companies – active in Calabria, Latium and Lombardy in the general cleaning of buildings, wholes trade of machine tools, call centers, construction of residential and non-residential buildings – bank relations and financial resources with the total estimated value of about 500,000 euros.
